Adult Therapy

A day in life is a series of interactions and reactions, or behaviors that can tell us what we don’t want to know, I am unhappy, sad, depressed, anxious, ect. My approach in working with adults is a collaborative process in which we look at difficulties that come up in relationships and try to understand their origins. When we have an idea where a feeling, behavior or reaction is coming from we can work on defining and processing the trigger.

Clients bring the expertise of self-knowledge to therapy, a central and essential part of the healing process. When indicated, I use EMDR to help clients heal from triggers related to trauma because it is direct and often takes less time than traditional talk therapies.
